It was announced at World Trade Center Savannah’s inaugural Prosperity Through Trade Luncheon that CZM Foundation Equipment, a family owned and operated Brazilian company that manufactures various models of drilling equipment, will construct an approximately 40,000-square-foot expandable facility in the Interstate Centre II industrial park in Bryan County. The new facility will allow CZM to increase its machine manufacturing operations as well as research and development. In addition to announcing the new facility, the company also revealed plans to relocate its international headquarters and engineering operations from Brazil to Bryan County, Ga.

CZM originated in Brazil and has locations there in addition to Italy and the United States, located in Pembroke, GA since 2012.

“Bryan County was the perfect location for us to launch our North American operations,” says Giuliano Clo, President of CZM USA Corp. “We are excited to expand our presence here and appreciate the continued support we have received from the Development Authority of Bryan County and the Georgia Department of Economic Development.”

The company plans to reach 75 total employees over the next three years in Bryan County. With the new facility, the company expects to have the ability to produce double the number of machines they make currently. The company anticipates the completion of the new building in Interstate Centre II in late 2019. CZM will continue operating in existing space in Pembroke for fleet rentals and servicing.

The announcement was accompanied by a video, which can be found at https://vimeo.com/homeofindustry/, that highlighted CZM’s current operations and some of its products.
