Amsterdam, Netherlands – World Trade Center Savannah Board of Directors Chairman and owner of National Office Systems Scott Center was elected to the World Trade Centers Association Executive Committee during the board’s July meeting in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Center was also elected to the Nomination & Compensation Committee and re-elected to the Investment Committee. Center has served on the World Trade Centers Association Board of Directors since 2017 and on the World Trade Center Savannah Board of Directors since 2012.

The WTCA Board of Directors contributes to diverse global trade and industry expertise that encompasses the WTCA global brand of iconic properties and integrated trade services. Based in New York, the organization was established in 1969, and includes 326 World Trade Centers in nearly 100 countries. World Trade Center Savannah is a member of the WTCA.

“It is an incredible honor to be recognized by my fellow board members from all corners of the globe. Of course, this mainly shows how World Trade Center Savannah is held in great esteem by the World Trade Centers Association,” said Center. “It probably did not hurt that I bought Savannah Banana t-shirts for all the other Directors. There is no other organization on earth like the WTCA. If you are interested in participating in the global marketplace, there is absolutely no way more effective than joining the World Trade Center.”

As a member of the Executive Committee, Center will be responsible for overseeing the governance of the WTCA Board of Directors and reviewing applications for prospective World Trade Centers Association licensees.
