World Trade Center Savannah (WTCSav) and National Office Systems are accepting submissions for the Peace Through Trade Competition, a student contest for the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders hosted by the World Trade Centers Association Foundation (WTCAF).

Teams are asked to present an original project, product or other innovative idea that “exemplifies and promotes social innovation and sustainability through collaboration, fair trade and ethical international business practices.”

Students must:
• Be on teams of at least 2 people (maximum of 4)
• Be between the ages of 18-29 at the time of the submission deadline
• Must present their projects in PowerPoint or another similar format
• Be available to present their projects in person at World Trade Center Savannah

Submissions will be sent to WTCSav and a committee will choose the project that will be submitted to the WTCAF. The global winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the upcoming World Trade Centers Association General Assembly in Querétaro, Mexico in April 2019 to present their project and receive their award on the global stage.

This contest is designed to connect with bright young thinkers and encourage and nurture ideas that will have a beneficial impact globally. The local contest is sponsored by National Office Systems.

The deadline for submissions is Dec 31, 2018.

In 2008 the WTCAF was founded to conduct programs that promote social welfare in the pursuit and support of activities that foster peace and social stability.

WTCSav supports a comprehensive professional development training program designed to expand the business skills of the next generation of internationally-focused executives.

Send submissions to LeAndrea Mikell, Programs and Marketing Coordinator at World Trade Center Savannah, lmikell@wtcsavannah.org.
